ÅBOLLY DANCERS

Åbolly Dancers is a dance group formed from the advanced level students. The group is committed to Bollywood dance and can be described as a dance family where every dancer has her own strengths.

Part of the Bollywood glamour are beautiful, sparkling clothes and jewellery finalized by gorgeous make-up. We plan every performance carefully and although we’re not professionals we take pride in taking care of the details as professionals do.

Group performs actively and is available also for private occations. In spring 2017 ÅD participated in their first competition; Turun Tähti (Star of Turku) and won the title “Media’s favourite”. In May 2018 Åbolly Dancers won Europe’s Biggest Bollywood Dance Competition, group dance –series (Tampere, Finland). In June 2018 Åbolly Dancers was proud to be part of Samba Carioca in the Helsinki Samba Carneval. This event is the unofficial Finnish championship competition between the samba schools and Åbolly Dancers gained the best score among the “Commission of Front”; 9,8/10.
