Åbolly continues under the management of a new association
In mid-May 2026, a new chapter began for Åbolly as the dance school's operations were transferred to a new association, Åbolly Dance School Association.
Åbolly’s founder and long-time teacher, Teija Ahola, is passing the leadership of the dance school to Sanna Soni, who has been teaching at Åbolly for many years. Teija will remain on the association’s board during the transition period to help ensure continuity and a smooth handover.
Åbolly has been active in Turku since 2009 (originally under a different name) and has grown into a well-known Bollywood dance community. Over the years, its students and the performing group Åbolly Dancers have appeared at numerous events in Finland and abroad.
